Welcome once again to our blog. Some days we feel like we don't have time for anything and that the days are going by faster and faster. Fortunately, technology has advanced and with it we can get help with a large number of our day-to-day tasks. In this article, we'll talk about how Power Automate can help us automate everyday tasks.

So what tasks can Power Automate do? From creating organized to-do lists, tracking expenses to notifying you of important events (we can admit, we don't always remember everyone's birthdays). It's these 3 tasks that we're going to cover here today. Let's start with the to-do list.

To create the automatic task list we would need to create a flow that would check when an event appeared either in a calendar or via an email marked as important. The flow would collect the information about a particular event and add it to a task list that anyone with access could see.

Moving on to event notifications. In truth, this could be a complement to the previous flow, without having to create a new one from scratch. In any case, the flow should check the user's task list and send a notification if the event is near. We could make the flow so that it notifies when a task is 5 days away from happening, 1 day away from happening and 12 hours away from happening. This way, a person would always have 3 alerts so they don't forget the event. These alerts could be sent by email or text message, or both.

As for tracking expenses, we could create a flow that detects when a receipt is sent to a personal email address and extracts the most relevant information in order to send this data to an expense control without having to do it manually.

In short, Power Automate emerges as a valuable tool for simplifying and optimizing our daily lives, relieving us of the burden of repetitive tasks and allowing us to focus on more meaningful activities. With its help, we can ensure that we don't miss out on important events, keep our finances under control and make the most of our time.
