Objectives

At the end of the course the trainees will have theoretical and practical knowledge about Scrum and will be able to apply the agile Scrum framework in their projects.

We will cover some fundamental concepts to understand Scrum, differentiating this framework from more traditional models, identifying its characteristics, benefits and form of organization.

It is a course for all those interested in applying the Scrum framework in their organizations and projects, project managers, project leaders, members of project teams, among others.

A professional training certificate will be issued on the SIGO platform, in accordance with Ordinance No. 474/2010 of July 8, for residents in Portugal who successfully complete the training.

    • Adoption and implementation.
  • Scrum Fundamentals

      • Basic principles of Scrum.
      • Product x Project Life Cycle.
      • Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
      • Workflow during a Sprint.
      • Roles and Responsibilities in Scrum.
      • Scrum Master, Product Owner and the Development Team.
      • Scrum artefacts.
      • Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment.
    • Kanban fundamentals

        • Introduction to Kanban.
        • Basic Kanban practices.
        • Work visualisation.
        • Work in progress (WIP) limits.
        • Workflow management.
        • Metrics and Continuous Improvement in Kanban.
        • Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) and Lead Time.
        • Identification of bottlenecks and adjustments.
